He has the unattachable and attachable hat. Jack Sparrow's minifigure is the same as he is in 6236 Black Pearl. The technic pole pieces holding the sails include some technic pieces with studs on top so minifigures can fight up high. The sails are detailed, being ripped up and black. Above the captain's cabin is the steering wheel. The captain's cabin includes a table holding Davy Jones's chest, and a piano for Davy Jones to play. It has plenty of room for minifigures to stand and fight. On the next deck there is a turning chart table, and a box full of cannonballs. There is also a wall with barnacles all over it, and can turn to reveal wyvren, an effect made to simulate wyvren'becoming part of the ship'. The ship has 12 cannons, a liftable anchor, and the brig. The ship has two decks, and the top one can be lifted up to see the bottom deck.

I placed this ship on Cuusoo, the ship as it is now would probably not make a good set but a lot of people were dissapointed that there is no official Flying Dutchman.The set is much larger then the past ship sets, being almost twice as much larger then the Queen Anne's Revenge from 2011. Overall I'm very pleased, the least I could say is that is didn't turn out to be a floating garden (using plant parts on a ship is risky). As you could probably see the colorscheme consists out of rather vague colors, I tried not to use any bright colors, I also wanted to reduce black as much as possible, which was not easy. I used a lot of the lego I already had but for this big ship I had to make some bricklink orders as well, I spent about 100 Euro on additional parts, mainly dark tan colored bricks. This is my biggest creation so far, it consumes an incredible amount of parts but I'm not able to make a decent estimate (I'm not going to count them -_- ). There are still some rough edges but I like it this way.Īpart from the rigging this is 100% LEGO parts.

The ship weights about 4,2 kg and has a lenght of more than a meter (which makes her the biggest lego replica of Davy Jones' famous ghostship on the net).
